HB – Hygiene Certificate. General Hygiene Skills Program

The General Hygiene Skills Programme (HB) is mandatory for individuals for whom it is required under the procedure approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. These courses are necessary for those working in specific fields where compliance with hygiene standards is obligatory.

The General Hygiene Skills Programme (HB) is required for employees whose work involves tasks that demand additional preparation. The HB certificate must be submitted together with one of the following certificates: H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H9, H11, H12, or H13.

Important: The HB certificate is valid indefinitely.

Course content:

• Personal hygiene and proper handwashing

• Personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Characteristics of infectious agents, disinfection and sterilization

• Routes of transmission of communicable diseases and prevention methods

• Strengthening the immune system, vaccinations, and the importance of prophylaxis
